Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
This is going to sound funny, but none of them really. I was fortunate enough to have a decorated career and have received a ton of personal accolades thanks to God, my teammates, and coaches so my only goal heading into senior year was to win a national championship and we came up short. I will forever cherish the time spent with my Reinhardt family though.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
I would hope they say I am a relentless competitor who gives 110% on every play. Who cares about his teammates and leads with passion. I hope they say I was a “guy”.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
First thing I focus on is my technique on that particular play, then I examine the scheme and how I could have reacted better based on their tendencies and what I was seeing both on the field and now on film.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I believe my get off separates me from the people in my position. I get off the ball in a hurry and really apply pressure at the line of scrimmage. It sounds cliché but my motor separates me from most people as well. I’m going to go until my legs stop or heart explodes.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I worked with a local Atlanta trainer, RouteKing. We focused on speed and explosion training, as well as position work.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Passion, togetherness, the will to work hard, and compete.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Do you want to win or do you want to compete? If you’re looking for a guy who loves the game of football, who will be committed and dedicated to winning championships and being a pillar in the community, who will outwork anybody else you are considering, who will come in ready to be held accountable and lead by example, who will lay it out there for the greater good everyday, who will make a difference from day one then I’m your guy. If you want to win, then I’m your guy!
