Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
Going into my final collegiate season I accomplished many things. It was the first time I averaged 4 tackles a game as a noseguard in a 3-4 along with developing a relentless effort to go moving until the play is over because you never know what can happen.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say that I’m a player who has developed more every year due to my work ethic. My coaches would say that I’m a leader who leads by example and isn’t afraid to be vocal if I have to.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
While watching film the number one thing I focus on is the details of the small things and effort because in my opinion details can be fixed but effort should never be low when I have a task at hand.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
The thing that separates me for other player at my position is my quickness and ball get off at my weight being I am bigger guy it’s a lot to handle.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will prepare for the draft by training at Gameface Training in Minneapolis, Minnesota with coach DeVentri Jordan. Currently training there for my pro day at North Dakota State on March 28th.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
As far as on the field the thing I would bring to a team is a guy who plays with good technique and violence and being that I played in a 3-4 I have a nose for stoping the run. As for off the field I’m a well rounded person who can get along with everybody, due to my sense of humor I get along with people well.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final sell would be I’m a working guy who loves the game and is willing to do anything to extend my football career.
