Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

During my final collegiate season I set the goal of improving our record of 3-7 from the year before. Loosing is part of the game but is always hard when it happens. This season our team finished the season 7-4 and I believe this was due to our team’s hard work and attention to detail. A personal goal that I had for myself was to run for 750 yards and an average 4 yards per carry on the season. I was able to achieve this by putting in the work in the off season and focusing on speed and agility training.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

The type of player that I am is a team oriented player that focuses on achieving a win. I am very hardworking and dedicated to the game. I am someone who likes to keep the atmosphere fun and encourage my teammates to show the best version of themselves.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying film I look at the assignments I was given in the previous game and look to how I can improve for the next game. This is important so I do not make the same mistake more than once . It is also essential to look at the other teams defense to notice any tendencies. Also I look at the other teams run fits and compare them to the type of offense that we run.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Being a running back vision and agility is key to see the holes and get to them as quickly as possible. With vision and agility I am able to get through tight spaces to gain yards. Also, I am versatile in run and pass game which gives the opportunity to be a three down back. Finally, I understand the importance of protecting the quarterback and make it a priority when the chance is given to me.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

During the offseason I plan to workout with speed and agility coach that I have had since high school. Working with him in the past helped me be more explosive in and out of my cuts which helps me gain yards. I am also planning on working with a lifting coach to increase my strength. By doing these workouts I hope to cut down on weight to be faster while at the same time being strong enough to break tackles.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

When being with my teammates I hope to always motivate others by keeping a positive attitude and encouraging them to work to their best ability. My drive to be a protectionist helps me seek out areas for myself and others to tweak to be better. Keeping the environment fun allows the opportunity for everyone to be themselves.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch is that I am a dedicated and hardworking team player who is able to adapt to any environment I put into. My ability to take constructive criticism is essential to being versatile player.
