Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Throughout my collegiate career, I have never won a conference championship, and I wanted to make sure that I did before I left college. Along with winning a conference championship, I also had the pleasure of being named All conference.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think that my coaches and teammates would say that I am a hard working resilient player who always puts the team first. Throughout the season, we faced a lot of resilience as a team, going through travel and injury, and I led the team, kept the young guys afloat and kept their motivations high.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying myself, I often look at my stance and hand placement. I noticed that on plays when I get good hand placement and a good get off, the play is usually successful. When watching offensive lineman, I like to watch their stances, alignments, eyes and tendencies. They often help me determine where the play is going, where the offensive lineman is going, or what plays are coming.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think the thing that separates me from others is my ability to play all positions on the defensive line, and my knowledge of the game. Playing football is much easier when you know the game, and knowing multiple positions, knowing offensive formations and even knowing what the people behind you are doing has a huge effect on your ability to make plays and play fast.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan includes preparing for the combine by working on explosiveness and strength. Training multiple times a day, with different focuses during each session will allow me to be ready for anything at any time.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My ability to play all positions on the defensive line, and fit in multiple schemes will definitely stand out to any team that recruits me. My understanding of the game allows me to be an asset to any team that I am a part of, also getting my masters in leadership and management gave me the tools to lead and understand peoples strengths and weaknesses to help them be their best selves.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

By recruiting me, you will get a player that gives his all in everything that he does, will work indefinitely and will become the best version of himself that he can, while putting his team first.
