Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The Goals I set for my final college season were to simply play at my best every single game all year long, and I felt like the rest would come with it. I had some very lofty goals because if how well I knew I could play if I was playing at my best. Some of my goals were: being a defensive leader on my team, All-Big 12 honors, All American honors, even being in the running for the Bednairick Award. Statistically i wanted double digit sacks, 20+ TFLs, but my main gaol was to be someone the younger guys on my team can look up to, and show them that anything is possible when your mind and that work into it.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

That I am an electric type of energy. I can give you that jolt when you need it, you know when Im in a room and when i leave it. When I’m on the field I have the ability to impact the game in a big way and energize my team. I am a force when Im on and and I am someone that they want to depend on. Off the field I’m a good guy, simple and easy to get to know. I’m low key and am always there when you need me.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

My technique, subtle differences of movements, and differences between a made play and a missed on. I watch film i a realize are so many plays I’ve left out there, and I want to get better at seeing them on the field.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I just bring a different approach to the game, a different energy, a different hunger.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Currently I train at APE fitness, they are helping me prepare for my Pro Day, and I plan utilize more opportunities to train with Dline Specific trainers, people who are more in my positional expertise.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I bring a lot to a football team. I bring leadership on and off the field, a great locker room guy, a guy you just want to be around and get to know more about. On the field I bring dynamic play ability, the ability to make my defense and team better when I’m on the field. Overall Im just a guy you want on your team and is a pain in your backside when I’m not.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I understand I’m not a highly touted prospect with all attention intangibles you might want, but all I need is an opportunity. I will show you early why I belong in the league and on your squad.
