Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Goals I set for this season were : To win my 2nd conference championship and to make the playoffs ( fell short of both) , have my 2nd consecutive season with 100+ tackles (accomplished) , make all conference (accomplished) , finish the season healthy (accomplished).

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am a hard worker who loves to win. A natural leader that plays the game with intensity. Someone who is accountable that holds himself to a high standard.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying film I look for any tips/tendencies from offenses. I like to study top formations and plays so that I can play faster and communicate with my teammates on game day. I also like to study the running backs I’m facing each week, different styles of running may require a difference approach when tackling.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other pro prospects at my position is my versatility. I have made many plays at outside and inside linebacker. I have played in a 3 down and 4 down defense (fronts). I have the feet of a running back which help me match running backs tracks in the box and have the speed to make plays on the perimeter. I am also very hungry and I know any opportunity at the next level is a blessing, I am a student of the game who is humble and just wants to contribute in anyway possible. I have played for a championship team in college and a team with a losing record I know both sides of the game the ups and downs it doesn’t matter to me my love for the game doesn’t change. I will continue to bring a positive attitude everyday regardless of the circumstances.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to dominate in both the CGS showcase and HBCU legacy bowl. While getting professional training/preparation for my pro day. I am extremely hungry and excited for this process.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Strengths I will bring to a team is my ability to play anywhere on the second level. Also I’m a guy who can and wants to make a difference on all special teams. I’m a natural leader who knows how to follow too.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

In conclusion I’m ready to give my all to any organization that takes a chance on me. Whichever team picks me up is getting a focused and dedicated Dog who is coachable willing to do whatever he can to stay whether that starter , bottom of the depth chart , or practice squad.
