Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A goal that was accomplished this past season was to learn more about defenses and read key tendencies to improve my game in pass protection. Also another goal I accomplished was to own situational downs. In other words convert major 3rd downs to put our team in better situations to win games.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I’m a great teammate who works extremely hard to better myself. You never have to ask for effort. I’m easy to coach due to being eager to learn, listen and display techniques that were taught. My teammates on the other hand would say I’m like an experienced uncle. I’m tough, dependable, and full of knowledge.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I like to focus on the percentage of defenses used against teams with a similar offensive scheme as ours. This helps to have a prerequisite of what to look for. I also study player tendencies to make blitz pickup easier in games. I study a lot of defensive fronts and techniques to see potential gap openings before hand.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is that I’m a well-balanced back. I have the ability to run, pass protect, and catch footballs out the backfield or slot. I also can play multiple positions on special team units.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m working on hip mobility, explosion, and change of direction along with route running. As In the weight room I’m focusing more on leg power and core strengthening for extra balance during contact.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field I’m a well-balanced back, so my strengths would be protecting the quarterback, catching big down passes out the backfield, and running the ball with vision for positive yards. My off the field strength is that I enjoy helping others. I’ve been through adversity myself and I never know what others could be going through so making some else’s day could not only change people life, but a community as well. Overall I feel good after lending a hand.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch the NFL or any other pro leagues is that I’m very familiar with adversity, so giving 100% is something you don’t have to look for in me, It’s already installed. I’m a playmaker and I’m dedicated to what I do. I’m versatile, I bring energy to any team, and I love to win by any means necessary. If I’m on your team, expect to win!
