What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I had the opportunity to reach some of my goals & one was that I was able to finish out on a win and leave an example for those behind me on what to do when adversity is going on throughout the season.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I was able to learn under a new staff and refine my skills and pick up some new moves along the way. I realized it’s a marathon and not a sprint when it comes to it and I made sure to make it count.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m a hard worker, great work ethic and high motor player, I always look to uplift others and lead by example.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I watch the men I’m going against, look for keys or tells on how they like to play on certain formations and which way they like to slide to or protect the most. It all depends on where their hands are too whether low, high or will they wait for you to attack first. If it’s a quick that’s deep or a jump set where they want to apply hands now to win, that will give me the tools I need to rush correctly and the visual keys to win more effectively.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My pursuit to the ball, my determination to dent the pocket on pass rush and make big plays.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Working out in Broward at System8 and making sure I learn all the correct mechanics in drill work and testing so I will be ready.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My drive and desire to win, my relentless effort and ability to make plays not only for myself but get others open to make plays off of my effort. My desire to help others in any way, shape, or form and to change lives for the better in the community.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Choosing me on their team will be something they will never regret and I will make the team better. Im explosive, have a high motor and I can dominate in the trenches.I’m willing to do anything it takes to win and ready to work towards a Championship.
UCFFB and #KnightNation thank you for having me, words can’t express the love, support and blessings!
