Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Some of the goals I had heading into the season was to get multiple INTs and score and I accomplished that!

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say that I’m a smart ball player that studies and knows the game.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying film, I focus on the concepts of the offense. I focus on what receivers we’re playing and their tendencies as well as the quarterback.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

What separates me and other players at my position is that I take risks within my job in the defense. I study film and opponents so I know what I can and can’t do.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

This offseason I’ve been working on speed and quickness that I’ll see at the pro level. Everyone is good so I know I have to bring my best everyday.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’ll bring smarts and hard work to a team. They’ll know what kind of player they are going to get which is a hard working young man that also loves the game and to have fun playing it! Even off the field, they’ll get a good role model that volunteers in the community and loves to uplift people and little kids that want to get to where I’m at.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch is that I’m a hard worker. I love the game. And I love to have fun playing it! I’m a willing learner and I try to soak up as much knowledge as I can from people who’ve been where I want to get. Draft me or sign me as a UDFA, they won’t be sorry. There are advantages to being underestimated.
