Name: Steve Wallace

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Steve: The three words that would describe my method of play would have to be Nasty, Quick, and Productive.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Steve: My offseason preparation consists of what any typical athlete that is trying to make a dream a reality with endless hours of training. I try my hardest to focus on increasing my endurance as much as possible. The one thing any under sized DT has to do is have an unrealistic motor.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Steve: I can’t compare myself to any NFL player just because I simply haven’t made it to the same level as them. But I try to model myself after the DT of the Indianapolis Colts, David Parry. We have the same body frame and work well in the trenches.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Steve: When looking at film against my next opponent, I look at the film from a LB’s prospective. I try to find any and every key that could possibly help me out on Saturday.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Steve: The one thing that separates me from any DT’s in the 2017 Draft Class is my film. All the characteristics of a player maker is emphasized in my highlight tape.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Steve: The strongest ability that I would bring to any Pro Club would the simple fact that I’ve been watching NFL games for the longest and understand how the game is supposed to be played. My 6’6″ 49er Left Tackle of a father made sure that he forged my IQ of the game of football at a very early age. Seeing him man handle HOF at the Blind Slide position gave me the ability to see how the offensive line reads certain things.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Steve: If you’re looking for someone with heart you’re looking at the wrong place because I have passion for this game we call football. People with great passion can make the impossible happen.
