Name: Justin Jemison
College: Jackson State
Position: Defensive Back
Height: 6’2″
Weight: 192
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Justin: Smooth, Deceptive, Smart.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Justin: In Jackson, MS. Training in Dallas For the Summer.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Justin: Richard Sherman. A Long/Rangy corner who doesn’t back down from any challenge. He causes lots of turnovers as well.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Justin: I look at the signals QBs use. Which foot the WR puts in front on different routes. I look for tendencies in favorite formations. QB’s favorite throw under pressure. Things that will allow me to cause turnovers.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Justin: What separates me is my cover skills. I think a lot of guys are pro day players who just have natural abilities. When we get between the lines that’s when you have to come alive.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Justin: I’ll bring a swag to any team, just that confidence that we’re going to go dominate. Same thing off the field, just a different demeanor guys don’t usually see.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Justin: I know I would be a valuable addition to any organization, special teams, defense, whatever I need to do to help the squad.
