Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set for my final collegiate season was to leave the university better than I found it by competing for championships. I was able to accomplish this goal with my teammates by competing for a conference championship this past season.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say the type of player I am is a student of the game. They would say how meticulous I am when it comes to prepping for a game and my immensely work ethic as well.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying film I try to find route concepts from a offense in each formation to have an understanding where they like to go to with the ball which will allow me to be around the ball more. Also, I pay attention to main receivers releases and how they run their routes.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What sets my apart from other defensive backs is my versatility. I have the ability to cover receivers in slot and also receivers on the outside. My ball skills are unmatched. I typically can finish by intercepting the the ball or causing a pass breakup. I have worked extremely hard on polishing my footwork. As a result, I am able to identify various route concepts, and not have any wasted steps coming in and/or out of my break. Lastly, I take a lot of pride in being a student of the game. I watch countless hours of film, along with taking detailed notes on the opposing offense. By doing this, it has allowed me to identify various tendencies and be able to play a step or two faster to make more plays.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan to train as been increasing my straightforward speed, perfect my footwork, and increase my strength endurance.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Some strengths and abilities I would bring to a team that will stand out on the field would be my playmaking ability when the ball is in the air and being able to cover in the slot if need be. When it comes to off the field I’m willing to put in the hours necessary to be three steps ahead when it comes to the game-plan and my opponent.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m a high character individual who has strong convictions and beliefs. I stand on my faith, family, and work ethic. I’m someone who would like to see everyone win, and I’m always willing to help those who are in need. I know my grit and resiliency has allowed me to be in the position that I’m currently in; and it will also get me to where I would like to be in the future.
