Michael Rigerman: 2024 Pro Prospect Interview

Name: Michael Rigerman
School: University of Findlay
Position: TE
Height: 6-3
Weight: 252

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Goals I had set for the year were to win the GMAC conference title and compete in playoffs, a self determined goal was to be all-conference, all region and all American.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I am hard working, driven for success, a team player, and a leader on and off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Things I watch in film is the little corrections that can make a block or route go from good to great. I try to see where my hands are placed, where my sticks are in routes. I watch players tendencies, major coverages and stunts to know what is coming and to make sure I have an edge on my opponent.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Something I feel separates me from other prospects is my grit and versatility. I wake up every day ready to work and improve somehow some way, I am able to play on the ball, off the ball and in all receiver positions.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am training at school with our strength staff while keeping options open to training in other places and facilities. This all depends on what my agent says.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I have the ability to play multiple positions in the offense and on special teams as well as keeping a good character off the field and not just having my whole personality be football.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Giving me an opportunity can be one of the best decisions you make.
