Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals for myself this year were to continue to be a leader by example but try to be more vocal and outspoken. I set out to make all conference and lead in rushing.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m a competitor not a big talker, but I’m going to out work you. My play on the field is consistent play in and play out.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I study the D line and linebackers try to look for tendencies. Who on the line can come off the ball how fast the backers fill the gaps. On what down do they like the blitz. Who coming on the blitz and from where.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My quick instincts being able to read and react. My ability to run routes out the backfield. Having the speed and athleticism to make people miss in space.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is simple to get in the gym and stay in gym. Train with my trainer and continue to grind. Hopefully I get an invite to perform in front of scouts rather that be a pro day or combine.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My ability to lead I’m a great leader by example. I’m a Swiss Army knife I can play anyway you line me up at. Not afraid to play special teams. I’m going to work hard on the field and I’m doing what I’m supposed to off it.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
All I need is an opportunity! You are getting player that’s going to buy in day one. You are getting a player that’s willing to come in and learn. You are getting a player that’s coachable. You are getting a player that’s truly a student of the game. Take a chance!
