Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A goal that I set myself was to be the best version of myself on the field. A big theme for me this year was to “leave no doubt” every time I stepped on the field. I also had a goal to be one of the best Tackles in the league. I felt I had a chip on my shoulder from last year as I did not get recognized at all in terms of the end of season individual awards; but it motivated me to get better and prove myself even more. Finally, my ultimate goal was to help my team win football games.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my coaches would that I was the type of player that would lead by example and would be encouraging to the players around me. I definitely try to set the best example to everyone around me because I know that someone is looking up to me and what I do.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying opponent film, I’m usually watching a couple of things. If we are talking strictly the defense, I’m looking for different looks that they may run to our offensive style; certain blitzes that they may like to run. I may potentially go against has. For example, if they are going for an inside move or a stunt, do they get into a particular stance, what are their favorite past rush techniques.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think what separates me from the rest of the prospects is that I am willing to do what ever it takes. I think that I have a dog like mentality that not most people have. I think the experience that I have had at IUP has made me a better individual all around. I think it has helped me to really learn how to grind and earn your way.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan on working on everything. From getting stronger and faster I think it’s important that I maintain an even makes strides in the weight room. I am also going to keep working on my footwork and mastering it.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I think the biggest strength I have is that I am a versatile player as well. I can play both on the right and left side of the line and give it everything. I even had a game during the course of collegiate career where I came and played Tight End for a game and was very successful at it.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

To all scouts and teams. I think that I bring a lot of value to any team. The first is I don’t know when to quit. I won’t back down from any challenge no matter how big or small it is.
