Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One of the goals that I had set was to win a game. Our team had struggled with the ability to finish drives, and so it was my ultimate goal to get that one win. In the end, we got three, and I am proud of that growth. In terms of my personal goals, I had received 2nd Team All-Conference the previous year, and it was my goal to earn 1st Team All Conference.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Leader that cares about every player on the field. And makes the effort to impact their lives off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I tend to watch every part of the Offense and Defense. Things such as, Coverages, Route Concepts, Twist/Blitz schemes, and ultimately what is the natural tendencies for the opposing team. Another thing that I do is look at our Offense’s Natural tendencies. Understanding what works and doesn’t is a benefit to learning how to progress in the game.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Coming from a very small school has forced me to be humble in everything I do. We don’t have all the flashy clothes, cleats, helmets, jerseys, scholarships and because of that, it has given me sense of gratitude for what I currently have. Success is not driven by what you have or have received. Rather the effort given to every piece of your life.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Currently I have been working out with my team. We lift 3 days a week, and do cardio workouts those days as well. Continue to grind, continue to drink tons of water, and stay prepared.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Authentic Leadership. I care about everyone on my team. Making the effort to get to know every guy is my goal, because unity is built through the relationships created. One of the things that I have always done is allow my team to come to me during hard times. I want success for my team on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

Opportunities are given and taken. I will make the best of the opportunities that are in my way. Faith. Family. Football.
