Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My main goal this season was to remain just as consistent as in the past and stay healthy. My career FG percentage is 81% with over 79 attempts — I’d say that’s pretty consistent. Staying healthy was a huge part of that formula as well. At my 25 years old, there’s a new little ache or pain popping up everyday. I made sure I was in the training room before every practice stretching, rolling out, and doing whatever I needed to do to feel good.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my teammates and coaches would say that I am the type of player that is willing to lead others and make sacrifices for the team — which I don’t think is something you normally get from a kicker. I’m easy to get along with and I make a point to get to know everyone, which are important characteristics for every player.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Film study is an interesting subject for kickers — we aren’t watching opponent schemes trying to gain an edge. We are watching ourselves, and focusing on what we can improve. Personally, the most film I watch is in the off-season, and it’s film of myself kicking without pads and a helmet. At that stage it’s all about technique, so I like to make sure I have that down before the season rolls around.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My age, maturity and experience are what separate me from other prospects at my position. I’m 25 years old. I’ve been a college football player since 2018. I’ve been in college since 2017. I’m a 5-year starter. I have playing experience at the FBS and FCS level. I’ve played in championships, bowl games, playoff games, and rivalry games. I’m a multiple time all conference selection — for both performance on the field and in the classroom. I’ve worked camps with high schoolers. I have a bachelors degree and a graduate education. Long story short — I’m ready to go.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I have all the tools I need to succeed. My plan is to continue training at Villanova University and attend my pro day in the spring. I’ll continue to lift and run, and work on my technique so I can be the best I can be.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’ve been told that presence in the locker room, weight room and on the field are some of my strengths. I’m a team guy through and through. Sometimes when people think of kickers they don’t think of us like that. But, that’s how I am and that’s what you’ll get when you sign me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m a nose to the grindstone, team player through and through. I put in the work physically and mentally. I’ve got the experience, and I’ve got the consistency and accuracy necessary to help any team succeed.
