Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

I set a couple of goals this past season, first goal was give up no more than two sacks, I only gave up one the whole year. My second goal was for our team to have a top ranked offensive line, we had the best one in the conference and we were honorable mention for the Joe Moore award and I was all conference. My very last goal was to win a conference championship and we did.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coach would say I am smart, resilient, and coachable.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

My preparation for film study is I write down a list of all the D Lineman I could possibly face this game, I write down the moves they use the most (normally about 2-3) and I tally how many times they use them and at what situation in the game. Do they use them to find out their favorite move and their backup move once their first one is stopped.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

One thing that really separates me from most linemen is I am self motivated, you don’t have to hype me up because I know how bad I want it.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Continue to workout with my strength coach and a couple of pro players.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Things I bring are me being very dependable you won’t have to worry about me on or off the field, I will be in the right spit at the right time. Also I lead by example, I am not much of a talker or yeller but I will come out day in and day out and work to perfect my craft.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch to scouts is honestly my best ability is availability, I’ll be anywhere you need me and not have to worry about me not being locked in. Ask anyone of my coaches I showed up everyday with a ready to go mentality no matter how I feel.
