Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
My senior year I was second on the D Line for tackles and had a touchdown. I also understood more of the game and played at a faster pace.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say I’m funny, but a hardworking player. I’m a very dependable player, was a leader on the D Line, never gave any problems, always respected the rules, and always remained humble and respectful.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film, the first thing i look for is to see if the team is a back oriented team. The second thing I look at is the guard and centers play, do they help each other out, is the guard giving him a signal to snap the ball, or is the center looking back for the QB to signal the snap count.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me from others is my strength and speed. I’m very strong with my hands and can chase down a ball carrier. Also, my IQ is very high, and I take coaching real well, no matter what form it is brought to me.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I’m currently training with Derrick Blaylock at Armed Sports Performance, but in January, I will be training with Mark Hall at a place called Frozen Ropes.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My on the field strength is that I can run stop and also pass rush, and also I’m a very funny person to be around. Off the field, I do a lot of community service and I haven’t ever been in any type of trouble. I just love to help out with others.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I’m willing to do anything I could to make the team better. I have pass rush ability and also run stopping abilities. I’ m very determined to be the best I could be to play on any team that’s willing to give me chance.
