Levi Lloyd: 2019 Draft Prospect Interview

Name: Levi Lloyd
School: Shepherd
Position: OL
Height: 6’2″
Weight: 295

Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

A goal I had set for myself before the season started was to be an all conference player which I had achieved. Also to have a winning season and with a young team, I feel like we did well.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I’m the type of player that’s always reliable. I never take days off due to the small injuries and I’m versatile being able to play any position on the offensive line.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film, I first look at the person(s) I’m going against. I look at the height and weight and see if that will affect how I have to play and then I go to see if they favor any certain moves or if they like playing on one side better than the other, just to get an idea of how I will have to adjust the way that I play to be successful.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I believe that something that separates me from other players is my ability to play multiple positions as well as my playing technique.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I have a trainer that I have trained with for years that I will be going to and I am confident that he will get me ready for any opportunity that comes my way.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths that I could bring to a team would be the no days off attitude because in the real world the people that show up on time everyday and don’t complain are the ones that make it the farthest and are the most successful.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch to scouts about myself is that I am willing to play wherever and do whatever it takes to continue playing football. I also would say any program or team that decides to bring me in will not be disappointed.
