Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I had a list of goals I wrote in my bedroom mirror before training camp started. CAA champion, National Champion, and become 1st team in the CAA and All American lists. There is a lot more goals I had for this season but those were the main ones.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I would say they would call me by a name they gave me since spring training, “Leadership Lar”. So I would say they would call me a leader for the most part.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m studying film the things I tend to focus on are first the down and distance, the formation, and what part of the field the offense is at. There is a lot of offensive tendencies to be shown when you dissect film like that for starters. I then follow up with the player film and try and pick up on the tendencies of everybody on the offense, yes even including the offensive line.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
The way I approach the game of football is what separates me. I really fell in love with this game and cherish everything it’s done for me. The least I can do is not go 100% and not try to run through a brick wall to play this game. I’m a natural born leader who wants to see everybody on my team win.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
At this moment right now I don’t have a plan to train anywhere. I’m looking and deciding on what senior bowl game I’m going to attend as well. I’m trying to get an agent or an agency to represent me as well.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I bring swag and energy with lead by example ability to a team that will stand out both on and off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
To all the NFL teams and all of the other pro leagues, take a chance with me and I will not let you down. I’m ready to get to work and help the team in any shape or form. I’m a football player who can contribute to a team and make an immediate impact right away.
