Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Before the season I set out personal and team goals. Team goals I wanted to win another conference championship and make our run in the playoffs to compete for a national title. Unfortunately, we fell short but still a good season. My personal goals I set going into the season was to be a leader and captain on the team. Also, back to back conference, and all region player.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Intelligently aggressive player that’s very discipline in doing my job. Bought in the system and trusting the process fully. As well as reliable and accountable player/person
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Tendencies to become more instinctive and play faster to the ball. Angles and breaking down in open field tackling situations. I visualize and focus on man coverage technique since I have limited reps in game for my position.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Versatility. I can do it all and have film doing everything all over the field. I’m a threat when it comes to bringing pressure off the edge and fitting against the run.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
During my offseason, I plan on training at a training facility in Fort Worth.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On and off the field I’m accountable wherever and whenever I’m needed I’m there with 100% intentions to getting the task done. Someone who is smart on and off the field and trusting in the process.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Whoever gives me an opportunity I have full intent to be the best I can be for the team and my role. I show up everyday to work and grow as player, teammates and person.
