Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals that I set were mainly team focused, such as: get to a bowl game, have a winning season, go to the playoff. individually I wanted to hold every major category stat in my schools history. My team and I were able to accomplish three of the four goals.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a reliable team first player that is easy to be around. Both would say that I hold myself to a high standard, therefore bringing my team and teammates with me.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I look at the way that they set their fronts. are they wanting to place the 3 tech to me or the shade. are they having a LB follow me? and lastly what is the alley defender doing? this allows me to predict where I will need my runs to hit and where the cutback will be.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
The thing the separates me from everyone else is the fact that every year since high school I have had 1.5k yards or more a year and have been counted out. I have a chip on my shoulder that I carry at all times due to the fact that I have been able to prove I belong on every level, yet I’m still counted out.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off-season plan is to stay in the gym lifting and maintaining my speed. additionally, watch games and learn how I can continue to evolve my game.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths off the field is I stay out of trouble. coaches will never have to worry about me getting in trouble and not being available. the is also my on the field strength, I have been blessed to stay healthy and produce for my team. I will show up to work everyday ready to work.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch is I may be overlooked for some measurable, but if you take a chance you will see number do not lie. I will give you everything I have and then some. I have worked my whole life to get this shot, and I can guarantee you one thing, you will get all of me everyday.
