Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

2nd Team All-Conference (CUSA)
Conference Defensive Player of the Week
Most Interceptions by a LB in the country (6)
3rd in Tackles on team
PFF Conference team of the week several times
All State Good Works team nominee
Wuerffel Trophy Watchlist.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

A determined hard working man, who is going to put in his work on and off the field and truly dedicated to the team goal. Also a charismatic person when interacting with others.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When watching opposing teams I look at their top key players and analyze how they move before, and during the play. To go along with that I see how it differs from the play calls. Then I incorporate our play calls and picture myself on the field against that play call and player.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I used to play Wide Receiver, so I have good ball skills compared to the average linebacker and can move as well for a linebacker (flexible and speed). All downs player and can also line up at several other positions on the field. Ability to make plays in space and also in coverage (man to man or zone).

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I am working with a speed and strength trainer right now. He is fine tuning the areas of my running, explosion, and mobility in certain areas. Our goal is to maximize my abilities so that i can test well when pro day comes.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a competitor so I’m going to do whatever it takes to win and will not settle for anything less of it. A player who can come in and do whatever that is asked upon him. Off the field, there will be no issues with character and will be finding ways to help out people in the community.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I am a hard working and dedicated player, so after I am told what to do once I am going to go out and execute what has been asked for. Very coachable and will listen to everybody that is trying to help me improve. You’re only as strong as your weakness, so while I’m focusing on improving my weaknesses in my game I will also polish my strengths. Everything in this life that is worth having you have to work for. I live by “Earned not given”.
