Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

In my final season my goal was to do anything I could to put my team in a position to win as many games as possible. The stats and accolades are a bonus; but doing what was needed of me every play was the most important thing to me. With that, being named 1st team All-American is definitely something I have worked towards and something I’m very proud of.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe they would speak to my relentless work ethic and my determination to enhance every part of my game. My attention to detail is very evident everyday in practice and in my game performance. They would also say that I hold myself accountable before anyone or anything else and that I lead by example.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

A few things I focus on when watching film are how well I sell each and every route, my urgency and suddenness at the break point of each route, and any way I can improve my run after catch.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me as a receiver is my running style. In combination with my speed, I am not afraid of contact which makes me a tough runner to bring down 1 on in space. I also have the ability to track the ball in the air very well, as well as, make highly contested catches.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m currently exploring trainers and trying to find the best fit for me. I’m interested in finding a trainer who has my best interest in mind and will match my commitment level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

As I have been a leader on my team for the past couple of years, I am also very willing to follow, learn, and be coachable in order to obtain the tools needed to play at a high level for an extended amount time. Also, as I mentioned before, I hold myself to a high-standard and do not make excuses for myself and/or my performance. In addition to the intangibles, I am an athlete who is not limited to just one set of skills. I am a quality receiver but I also return kicks and punts at a high-level; this past season, I put up 1842 all-purpose yards with 17 total touchdowns.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to any pro leagues is that I am a player who never shies away from adversity and low odds. My mentality when I step between the lines is that I’ll do anything for my teammates and I to leave with a win. I’m willing to learn, take direction, and try things that I may not have ever done before. My game not only is an expression of how I view the sport of football, but also my general commitment level, work ethic, and attention to detail.
