Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Initially my goal was to earn the job as the starting quarterback. After earning that role, the goals became more team-based.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my coaches and teammates would say that I am passionate about the game of football and respect the game and those that I share it with.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I like to play the game in my head before doing it on the field on Saturdays. When I’m watching film, I like to see different looks that we could get to different formations, personnel groups, and concepts that we have in the game plan that week. That way when I see it on the field it isn’t the first time. This helps me to play faster.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from others is my ability to lead. I am able to bring out the best in others and get everyone moving towards the same goals.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I have some amazing resources around me including the strength and football staff here at USD. I plan to continue working out with them to prepare for my pro day this spring.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

One strength that can help a team is my people skills. This will help me work well with my teammates on the field and the organization and surrounding community off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’ll never take a day that I get to play football for granted. I love this game and I know that the time that I get to play it is limited. I won’t waste any opportunity I get to keep playing.
