Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I had set for this year was to become a starter and dominate at my position. Along with leading my team in sacks and making a name for myself in this conference. I was able to accomplish these goals by the end of the season & that meant a lot to me because I went in knowing what I had to achieve.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say that I am a coachable player & I am someone they can count on. Someone who is going to give them there best. My teammates would say that im a physical player and i am someone who is not going to let up during the play.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m studying film the things I focus on are the small details that I can fix on a day to day basis. I know if I can correct most of my small mistakes I will improve my game. When I’m focusing on an opponent I constantly watch the things that they struggle with and how I can beat them with that.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from my opponent is my ability to bend, I’m violently physical and athletic for my position. Some coaches are looking for the 6’5 270 DE.. but when you turn my film on it looks like I’m playing at that size.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off season plans are to get with an agent to connect and train for my pro day coming up.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I feel as some strengths and abilities I can provide to an NFL team that will stand out is how physical I am and me being a coachable player who wants to understand more about the game. A player who will provide value anywhere that I’m assigned to. A player who will lead by example on and off the field for younger generations below me.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues is that, you won’t regret taking the chance on me. I will provide value to your team. I am hard worker, I am a discipline player, & I am a dependable player. When you cut on my tape you will not be disappointed.
