Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
In my final year, I accomplished helping my team have a winning season, 3 peat in first team all-conference, back to back nation leader in TFL, back to back DMVP UMAC, sack nation leader (2018), 3rd team all-region, lastly help my teammates to push themselves to high heights.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
They will tell you there’s two sides of me. One side is a guy who cares about winning and will do anything to win. A guy who will find the answer if no one knows. A guy who will be there when you need help. The other side of me is a guy who loves to work harder than the next man. A guy who will give you everything you ask and then some. A guy who spread great energy around the team to help reach their goals. A guy who puts the team first before himself.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
Main thing I focus on to improve my game is watching offensive line on how they react to certain moves. I’ll watch one play for 20 minutes so I can look at every detail. How he moves, how he turns, how quick he is out of his stance, and see how his hips and feet move. Once, I watch film all night on the opponent, I watch myself. The way I try to improve my game from watching film is to watch my first move. The first move is a huge advantage on winning the battle. Focus on my get off and then my hands. Those two are what I focus so much on.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My heart and commitment.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Going back home to work with my workout trainer, and staying close to family and good energy to keep my mind focused on what I want in life.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths- Leadership, team building, bring the most out of people, competitiveness.
Abilities- A guy who can rush the QB and drop in coverage. Smart football player. A fighter who won’t quit. A guy who won’t back down from a challenge.
