Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to do a better job blocking this season. It was only my second year being a part of the protection on punt and I wanted to clean things up from the previous season. I worked a lot on my footwork and focused on transitioning from my snap to block. Other than that, my biggest goal is to always improve 1% each day. I strongly believe that if you focus on daily growth, good outcomes will take care of themselves.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I’m a hardworking player who has a positive impact on everyone I’m around. My coaches and teammates give me a lot of credit for my work ethic and leadership.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I’ll try to look for parts of my technique that could be cleaned up. I’m always looking to see if I’m using my body efficiently through the snap and doing all of the little things correctly. I also scout punt return teams and look at ways they align, where they’ll bring pressure, and if the returner has any tendencies. This helps me to feel more prepared when I take the field.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My athleticism is definitely something that separates me from other long snappers. It gives me the ability to get downfield quickly. It’s always my goal to throw an accurate ball and be involved in the tackle. I like the idea of not only starting a play, but finishing it too.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m currently working with a strength and conditioning coach to keep progressing towards my goals. He’s written up a program specifically for me and what I need to improve on to be ready when the time comes. I will also be attending Special Teams University’s Pro Prep Camp in January and Coach Zauner’s Senior combine in February to showcase my talent.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

There’s a lot that I would bring to a team both on and off the field, but two specific things that come to mind are my strong work ethic and leadership. I attack everything I do with 100% effort and that can be seen through the way that I prepare and the way that I play. I give everything I have in order to contribute to the team’s overall success. I establish myself as a strong leader through my actions and the care that I give to each one of my teammates.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am a hardworking and high-character player that is guaranteed to give 100% effort in helping my team be as successful as possible.
