Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

First and foremost I graduated from Rutgers with a degree in Biological sciences and maintained a 3.0 GPA. This was accompanied with the accomplishment of earning a scholarship as a true walk on at Rutgers. As for on field accomplishments I finished my college career as a graduate transfer. At my final stop I finished my college career with one interception, a blocked punt, 14 passes defended and 30 total tackles (3 for a loss).

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My teammates and coaches would say that I am a worker. Not the biggest or fastest individual, but a true football player on the field. Versatile is another word that would be brought up, with a background in punting, holding, receiver and defensive back I have done it all. Last thing about the type of player I am is gritty, I take pride in always being available. Never missed a practice, film session or extra workout… all of this to help continue developing myself as a player.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The biggest aspect of film watching for me has to be tendencies and mistakes. First I need to evaluate myself in every rep and see how I can improve. On the other hand, tendencies both for me and my opponent. What am I doing that can be a tip for the opposition and what are the guys on the other side doing. This helps you play faster and digest information faster, thus allowing you to optimize every snap.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

No one outworks me on the field or in preparation for taking the field. Coming from one of the smallest high schools in NJ, to starting my career playing D3 football, transferring to my dream school of Rutgers and playing, to finishing at a D2 school there has always been one constant…. There is no substitute for hard work.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

While still taking care of my responsibilities outside of the weight room and field I have prepared individually. I worked with a long time coach on speed and agility and another on positional. This was all capped off at my Pro day which was held at Rutgers.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My biggest strengths have to be football IQ/ football instinct, paired with strong virtues. On the field it’s all about getting to where you need to be and executing, allowing you to make the plays needed for your team. Off the field there will never be a question about what type of man I am, I have been taught to always be in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing. Whether it’s my teammates, family, friends or others I always have the best at heart for them.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Given the opportunity I know I can contribute and show I belong. I have always proved people wrong and have always been driven for the right reasons. Once it’s time to lace them up and play, I can play with the best of them.
