Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A goal that was accomplished this season was beating both of our rivals (Sac State and Cal Poly). A personal goal of mine was being an All-Conference player and I achieved that as well.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My teammates and coaches would define me as a selfless and caring teammate. Personal accolades have never been important to me it’s always been about the team. This is demonstrated through receiving Teammate of the Year Award in 2022 and receiving the Team Culture Award 2023 (Aggie Pride Award).

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film I’m always looking at my first two steps and my eyes. How quickly my first two steps get in the ground and where my eyes are tell me most of what I need to know. While watching opponents I look to see if they play with their pads or hands, their pad level, what moves they may throw and general tendencies.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Experience and toughness, I’ve started 54 games in college and I believe the amount of reps I’ve taken is an advantage. I’ve been allowed to take so many reps because I’ve played through injuries.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Currently I am training at UC Davis with the strength coach. He already understands my strengths and areas I need to improve.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My knowledge of the game is an area I take pride in. An ability to counter what teams are throwing our way on the field as well as breaking down film leading up to a game.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m a consistent hard working player that always wants the good of the team to come first. My football knowledge has only grown as I’ve started 54 collegiate games. I’m a student of the game open to learning new techniques through studying how others have played the game.
