Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some of my goals I set and accomplished for my final collegiate season was to be the best version of myself on and off the field, score touchdowns, have fun, and to be the best teammate I could be to my teammates and coaches.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I would say that their opinion of me would be that of a great teammate and hard worker. A guy who shows up and goes to work. Someone who pushes through obstacles no matter the height or depth of them. A guy who wants to win and wants others around him to win and be successful.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The things I focus on when I watch/study film is the little things within my game. I look at my footwork in the blocking game. Every little step counts, so I try to break it down and go into depth as much as possible. I study my hand placement, my pad level off the ball, and the explosiveness through my hips. Along with the blocking comes the route running and catching. When I break down my film in those categories, I really try to make sure I’m making my footwork and pad level when coming in and out of breaks a main emphasis that I look at. I’m always looking to improve in all areas, especially in those. I make sure I’m seeing myself look the ball in. Watching my head follow the ball into the tuck. Film is such an important part to your game and it has to be treated as such.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I feel my work ethic and capability of being coachable separates me from others a lot. I want to be coached to the max so I can constantly improve and get better as a player and person. Being a perfectionist, it makes it hard not to want to be perfect in all aspects of my game, especially with my technique. I feel that that characteristic of me (being a perfectionist) really gives me an edge over other players just because I’m never satisfied with great plays I make. I’m always expecting better from myself.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is to train for my pro-day. I will be training at the Trench Academy in Tampa, Florida with coach Taylor and his staff.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths I will bring will be grit, hungriness, my perfectionist characteristics which can result in constant competition and making others better in whatever aspect it may be, as well as it bettering myself at the same time. I will bring a form of respective leadership meaning I will do my part to the best of my abilities to try and make my team and teammates better.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m an underdog type of guy from a small school that has fought through many trials and tribulations and has overcome it all. I’m hungry and disgustingly obsessed with this game and reaching the next level. You’ll get a guy who wants to come to work everyday and make the most of his opportunities. A guy who wants to get better each and everyday, while making his teammates better in whichever way he can. I can ball, and if I get the opportunity to, I won’t disappoint.
