Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One major goal I set for this season was being a better team captain than the previous year. I feel like I did that, I played for the guys beside me and made sure that I could help anyone and everyone on the team that need my help. Another goal I had is to grade out at least half of the game with at least an 88% or higher. I believe I accomplished this as well. My last goal is a goal that I set when I first started my collegiate career and that was to become an All-American by my last football game. I am not for sure if this goal will come true but hopefully here in the next couple months that goal is achieved.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I am someone that is a hard worker on and off the field. They would also say I am a team player and play for the guys around me. Lastly, my coaches and teammates would say I am someone that is determined to give it my all when I am doing something.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I focus on my technique and how I can improve it. When looking at the opponents film I am watching the moves they are doing and what step they are most likely going to do that move on. I also look at linebackers to see what kind of movement they are going to give us when running the ball. This allows me to change my angles and how fast I need to get up to the second level.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I am someone that takes watching film and studying my opponents film serious. Also, I am someone that is going to study the playbook and know all the plays so I am ready to compete in games or for a spot. Lastly, I am someone who is going to give it my all and leave everything out on the field.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to continue lifting and making sure my body is in top shape so when I get the opportunity to play for a team I will be ready to compete. Also, I plan to continue working on my foot work and making sure my technique is getting better.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Something’s that I am going to bring to a team on and off the field is my leadership skills. I am someone that tries my hardest to be a leader for the guys around me and help them when they need help. Also, once I learn the playbook I am someone that will help others learn it as well to give our team more opportunities to win. Another thing I will bring is my determination. When I am on the field I am determined to do my best and try to help my team win. Off the field I hold my self to a high standard, making sure I do the right things so I can help my team win the next week and the week after that.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My name is Jackson Linback and if you are looking for an offensive lineman that is determined and a hard worker I am your guy. I will give you my all and try my hardest in whatever role I am give on a team.
