Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A goal I set was to help impact the team in a positive way to help win games, to lead & change the receiver room & to get 1,000 yds with 10 touchdowns. I accomplished all those goals except for the 10 touchdowns I ended up finishing with 6.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

The type of player my coaches and teammates would say I am is tough, hard working & a leader by example. Was more vocal my senior year but usually not. They would say I practice hard and take it serious which is why I feel like I have success on game day.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film the things I study to improve my game is my opponents. I watch their tendencies & coverages which can put me a step ahead in the game. For example if I see that when a corner breaks down hill or to a certain way on a curl route then I’ll already know where I’m going with the football once I catch it. Lil things like that and I also watch me. How I ran a route, what I could’ve done better in the route, did I sink my hips, could I have gotten a better release off the line & things like that. Super critical of myself which I feel is needed in the game if you want to excel.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The things that separate me from other pro prospects is definitely my size. There are a few other receivers my size, but I feel as though my ability to get off the line on press & run precise routes the way I do at my size separates me. My quickness is definitely a plus & I also can run routes at slot comfortably which many outside receivers can’t do. I can run any route on the route tree including jerk routes & all those crazy routes from the slot. My ability to make at least 1 person miss is also something that would separate me. This season I probably had 1 catch over 30 yds. Meaning I was getting yac. With 1100 yds & 1 catch over 30 yds you have to be making something happen with the ball in your hands. Also I was top in the country this year with 50/50 balls for draft eligible receivers this year. I fell like I have good ball skills & can play big, go up to get the ball & also play like I’m small when running routes & getting in & out my breaks. I’m very confident in all these things because I worked on it for so long & still currently working on it.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan to train currently is in Richmond Virginia where I live, I know a few field trainers & weight room trainers as well up until I go to whatever team get me. Just s constant grind, same as anyone else trying to do big things.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The kind of strengths & abilities I bring to a team that will stand out on and off the field will be my consistency. Showing up everyday & doing the same thing on a consistent grind the whole season. Teams not having to worry about me getting in the trouble off the field. Extra work everyday of course and my effort into everything I do, which takes no talent at all. I feel like with my approach to the game I’ll be able to elevate any receiver room . On and off the field. I’ve done it in high school & every college I’ve been at, Norfolk State, Toledo & East Carolina.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues is that l am a professional wide receiver & I can play at a high level. I’m a diamond in the rough. Everybody will see soon.
