Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I just wanted to find more ways to be able to affect the play and do my job of causing disruption and being able to make my teammates’ jobs easier by taking two and being a force in the run game.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A reliable player, someone who is a high IQ player who knows their plays and can play toward the tendencies of the other team and make plays that would benefit the team. A player that comes to work and puts their all into it, doing anything in their power to help the team win.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The things that I’m putting my focus into so that I can improve my game, would be pass rush. I feel like pass rush is something that can always be improved on and having the technical skills for being effective in the pass game against offenses. Making sure that there’s no wasted movement.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I really think my strength in the run game and the IQ I’ve gotten from seeing formations helps give me my keys into how I can affect the play. Being a real run stopper helps me get the stops needed to help my team’s success by doing the little things, such as taking up a double to let a player get free or being in 1-on-1 position to make a play.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to keep working out with my local trainer, and keep improving my skills in all aspects of my game, working on my get off, hands, feet, and both run and pass techniques. Another important asset I need to improve would be my conditioning so I can be affective no matter the time and downs.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

One of the the strengths that will stick out to teams would be my work ethic, I’m always going to put the work in to be great, I know that you have to be all in so that you can achieve greatness and keep improving. On the field I know that my speciality is being a run stopper, in order to win in football you have to stop the run so that you can force the other team to get into pass situations so that you can get after the quarterback, which also leads to me being a reliable player when it comes to stunts and blitzes, understanding the scheme and my job and how it can lead to helping my teammates make their plays as well.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

If you want a player who is ready to work, one that you can plug-in and they understand the scheme, I’m your guy. I know that it’s a different level at the professional level, but I’ve never been scared of hard work and my passion for football only helps push me more to strive for getting better one step at a time. I know I have to make that one play every day to give a team a reason to keep me. I’m ready, willing, and able to get to work.
