Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

To win a conference championship and make the playoffs. Fell short of it.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A resilient hard worker who shows up everyday giving 100% effort to be great and improve in every aspect of the game. An intense vocal leader that also leads by example. A respectful young man off the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I spend Monday-Wednesday night focusing on the interior OL. Thursday and Friday I focus on the OT’s and how they work in conjunction with the interior to see what I think could work and not work. Lastly I go over their top formations and any tells that it can give me to play that much faster.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My effort, my get off and my ability to rush the passer from inside. Every single play I’m getting off the ball trying to cause havoc.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Continue to refine my skillset and build on it. Improve in all areas of combine training and dial in my nutrition. Would like to gain another 10-15lbs.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My biggest strengths I believe are my leadership and my ability to wreck a game from the inside. My mindset is to play on the other side of the line of scrimmage and consistently fly off the ball and wear the OL out.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL and other professional leagues would be to take that chance with me. I’ve built my name up from nothing. I’m a former Walk On and now I’m leaving college an All American and DPOY. I love the game of football and I’m striving to be great everyday. I know I’m able to benefit any team on and off the field.
