Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
Having transferred in and only having one year left I really wanted to become part of the team and program. I knew we had talent and I knew if I could build a relationship with my guys then we would have a successful year.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say that I am a competitor and want nothing more than to win. I will do anything to help my team get a W and my play shows that.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I study film I look at the defense tendencies, how they react to stuff that we do, and matchups. I love it.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My arm strength, accuracy and drive is what separates me from other Quarterbacks. I know its Cliché to say I eat, breath, and sleep football but I really do. I want nothing more to continue to play and I will work my tail off until I do. I also feel I can step on the field with anyone and throw. I have full confidence that I can compete against anyone.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
This offseason I got the chance to work at Exos down in Carlsbad, CA with long time NFL coach Mike Sheppard. I will continue to work with him the remainder of the off season.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I just want to win and I think it’s important to have that mindset when you’re on a team especially as a Quarterback. I would bring a hard working blue collar attitude that an organization needs at the Quarterback position.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final sales pitch would be that I can help an organization win. I will bust my tail to make sure that the team and I are getting better each and every day. I bring a competitiveness that will be unmatched.
