Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
2x All Big 12. 0 sacks given up this season. Only 1 sack given up on my last 891 pass blocking snaps.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Nasty play style. Team leader. Big Impact guy in the lockeroom. Plays hard all the time. Disciplined, knows offense inside and out. Great teammate.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Understanding the whole picture of what the defense is trying to do, seeing pressures and blitzes before they happen allow me to make the best calls to put myself and the rest of my line in the best position to make a play.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Nasty play mentality. Ability to break down film and understand concepts, as well as my athleticism and mobility to get out and pull. My athleticism allows me to transition to the 2nd and 3rd level and make blocks in space.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
This offseason I’ll be working with multiple specialist to prepare my body for peak performance for my pro day and all star games, as well as have me ready to be an instant impact player on a football team.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I have a natural gift with people, and to be able to relate and lead people on and off the field. My work in the community is a reflection of who I am and my values as a person.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Whatever team that selects me is going to get a player that will give everything every opportunity I get. I believe I have intangibles that can’t be coached. Whatever is asked of me I will find a way to get it done at a high level.
