Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
My senior year was very much a success for me I went 12-15 on field goals making 100% over 50 yards (2-2) with also having 70% of my total field goals coming from 40 yards plus. Along with this, I also handle kickoff duties my senior year having around 35% touchbacks.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would describe me as being very thick skinned and dependable on and off the field. As a kicker, especially right now, confidence is key and trusting yourself is the first step to being a successful player.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me from other players in my position is my work ethic and drive for what I do, practice, practice, practice is essential. I was never taught how to kick or really had much instruction, I was self taught.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
This offseason, I will as I always do, will continue to train on the field and off. I’m a busy person working full time and in my last semester of school is time consuming and I still find time for football.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Off the field and on the field, one thing I have always prided myself on is being positive in any situation. I always try to be even keel and not express stress or frustration in an outward manner. This not only looks bad on you as a player, but will effect the team’s overall mood.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
In closing, what I would have to say to scouts is that with a league struggling in special teams and character right now, my skills and work ethic could contribute in many ways on and off the field.
