George Rushing: 2019 Draft Prospect Interview

Name: George Rushing
School: Buffalo/Wisconsin
Position: WR
Height: 6’0″
Weight: 198

Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Just to give it my all and to show on film I can be a consistent player.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

I am a hard working player, always putting in extra work, watching film and taking care of my body.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I watch what I did that worked and watch the clips I messed up so that I can consistently do what works for me and not making the same mistake twice.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Heart and ability to adapt at any position.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I have been training with a guy John Opher since the second week of January for 6 days a week along with the extra work I put in myself.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

You will see a guy that gets the job done, that adapts, will work hard at points of improvement and be dependable.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

If you give me an opportunity I promise you there won’t be one person on the team that will outwork me. I will always continue to improve each week, I will be a pro on/off the field and I will bring good energy to the team. My high school class started the base for my school becoming national champions this year. The class I was apart of at Wisconsin won the most games in Wisconsin history and won most bowl games. The team I played with at Buffalo won the most games in their team history. I have played in 53/54 games in my career just playing WR. I am a born winner.
