Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
For my final collegiate season my goals were to allow zero sacks, help lead the team to another conference championship, make it to the playoffs, be named First team All-Conference, and be named an All-American.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’d say the coaches and players would say I’m a very hard worker. I’m always trying to get better technique as an O-lineman, and a type of player that cares deeply about the team and its success.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film I look at what the what types of players I’ll be going against. I look at what moves they use the most and what games they like to use as a defense.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’m the type of player to not waste an opportunity. Given the chance I know I’ll succeed.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
During the offseason I’ll still be studying to finish my degree, so I’ll be training at the my school’s football facilities with the strength coach. I’ll constantly be working tackle, guard, center reps during the offseason.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’ll bring a passion for excellence. I want to excel in whatever I do, whether that’s in school, in weight room, or on the field. On the field I try to always to pursue the football to make sure I’m there to recover a fumble or push a pile for a few more yards.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I will not waste any opportunity given to me. I always strive to the best at my position and that will not change when going to the pros.
