Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Garnered GPAC Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors week 10 with a 10 tackle performance and a 74-yard fumble return for a touchdown that is the longest defensive touchdown in school history.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I play with a “One Speed” mentality that feeds into the rest of the team and translates from practice to the games.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I study film the sunday after the game and each day focus on a different aspect of the film. I try and find tendencies with the offensive line and running backs to get me a step ahead on what play the offense is going to run. I focus on down and distance and what ball the hash is on to further diagnose what play the offense is going to run.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What seperates me from other pro prospects in my position is my will to always want to be better and good isnt good enough. I am always chasing greatness and I never get too high or low with myself, I always want to keep that happy medium. I play on the edge of out of control, the keyword is “edge” because you still want to be level headed to make sure everyone on the defense knows the play and is lined up correctly to excecute the play.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to continue working on getting faster, getting more explosive, increasing in weight but making sure that doesnt sacrifice my speed, and increasing my knowledge of the game to be a step ahead of my opponents.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field I will bring that “One Speed” mentality of always flying to the ball whether you feel like you are going to make the play or not. It’s the sacrifice of all 11 players running to the ball and not knowing whats going to happen but doing it anyway because a turnover can happen and you can be the beneficiary of it or be the one who causes it and when its time for game day it will become second nature and your body will be prepared for it. Off the field I will bring that same mentality but it will be towards the community and finding different ways to help people out whether it be volunteering or donating to those in need.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to them would be to take a chance on me because I will change the mentality of the whole defense and be a great asset to a team because of my work ethic, mentality, and determination to always get better and win.
