Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Set out to get first team all conference and succeeded, also won special teams player of the year (all conference). Also accomplished going to the conference championship and bowl game.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Coaches and players would say I’m a team guy and care about the success of the team.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Study film after practices with my position coach to see what went right and what went wrong. Mainly focusing on hip location, follow through, plant foot spot, and ball contact.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Something that sets me apart is normal game and big game experience. I have been the starter for 4 years. Am 5/5 on FGs against SEC teams with 2 50 yarders and 1 40 yarder (one 50 to take the lead against Alabama in 2021, and another at Kentucky that same year during a late November cold game, the 40 came against auburn this year to grow our lead going into the half), hit a game winner on senior night this year against Jax State, so the clutch factor is there.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is to train back at home with my kicking coach (John carney) and get in contact with an agent to get my name out there.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
A strength I have that will be brought to the team is my passion for the game and kicking abilities to help the team succeed in anyway possible. Something that will help stand out off the field is volunteering off the field wherever necessary.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Final pitch would be to consider me for my experience and clutch factor that I bring to the team.
