Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Win a third ring, Win a natty, receive a second All-American.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

That I like to joke around and have fun, but I am all business between the whistles. They would say that I am hardworking and a film junkie.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I am constantly watching films, my goal was to always have the most hours on the offense. I tend to watch fronts and games. As well as tell tell signs that each team or player gives off, whether it be blitzes from the boundary or simple things like an individuals stance.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My football IQ, I switched to Center this year to help my team out. I have played a lot of college snaps, so the game tends to slow down for me. I was dealt a lot of responsibility from my OC this year.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Prepare like I have a lot of football in front of me. My offseason workouts won’t change. I plan to prepare like I have one more season, I will continue to make sure my knee is as healthy as can be, as I tore my ACL last Nov.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring a great understanding and feel for the game and angles in terms of OLine play. As well as a locker room guy that can adapt wall and buy into a program.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am sore loser who loves to win! I lost 8 total games in my career, brought back to back conference championships to a school that hadn’t seen one in my lifetime. Also, you don’t become and All-American at 6’0 265 by being the biggest, fastest, or strongest OLinemen. But I will bring tenacity, great footwork, and pride with me every single day.
