Throughout last year, I accomplished the goal of continuing to set the standard in our program and making sure that the younger guys on the team understood what it takes to play at a championship level.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I’m a completely selfless player and always willing to take on any task or workload presented to me. Also, that I’m a physical and smart football player.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film, I focus on the releases and splits of the receiver to determine what routes are likely to come. Also, the tendencies of the offense on certain downs and distances.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

One thing that separates me from others is being extremely versatile in how I play. I can play inside the box and fit the run, but I can also play 1 on 1 on the outside against receivers .

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

During the offseason, I will continue to train at my school and also in my hometown Columbia, SC.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, I will bring a player who is always willing to compete and has a good understanding of the game. Off the field, I will bring the strengths of being a level-headed person. A person who is never too high or never too low regardless of how good or bad things are going.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

If you’re looking for a player in the secondary who can play multiple positions and is always eager to learn more and compete day in and day out, I’m the guy you’re looking for.
