Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

I wanted to become an expert at my craft by attacking the weaknesses in my game. I wanted to become a consistent puller by finishing at second level and I wanted to improve my motor. I did that and earned all-conference recognition. The ultimate goal was to play with more of a chip on my shoulder stemmed from me being undersized in my position in route of dominating in a tough conference like ours.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

Coaches have actually expressed how they are inspired by my desire to always improve. Even as one of the hardest workers, I would always be in coach’s ear asking ways to be better.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film, I always look at my base techniques: feet, hands, and hips. If something goes wrong, I always go back to check on fixing one of those three things. I also like to watch other players in my position in the conference to take positive things from their game.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Confidence and the desire to never be outworked by anyone. I have always been overlooked, so that fuels me every time I play.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

With the transition to fullback, there will be an emphasis on me getting more comfortable with route running and blocking more in open spaces. I have great trainers that will help.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m enjoy being vocal, leading, and learning from guys around me. Throughout my career, I’ve played a majority of the positions in the box and special teams, so I am a versatile player.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

If you’re looking for a selfless guy who will be coachable and give you every ounce of himself daily, that’s me. I’m hungry for an opportunity and will be blessed with anything that comes my way.
