Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My main goals were to have my best season yet as well as the best season for the program. I set out to leave the field each game with no regrets knowing I gave it my all. I set different goals each game just striving to get better each week and receive All-Conference recognition.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A trustworthy hard worker who is a good role model and team player. I love to win and I’m passionate in everything I do. They would likely mention my locker room speeches pre-game and half time where I express my passion for my teammates and the game of football.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

My playbook is filled with tendencies, strengths and weaknesses of defenses that we play against. I like to look at their entire gameplay, how they react to adversity and their adjustments. I like to analyze how they deal with tempo and see if they get gassed and who takes plays off. I notice small things and go out to practice on Monday and work on things myself and the other backs feel would be a good threat for the other team. Week 4 I focused on balance because their entire secondary had the ankle biter tackle style.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think the biggest thing that separates me is the work that I put in outside of team work. I was always told if you want different results then everybody else you have to put in more work. My versatility and size has always separated me from other Rb’s I’m taller than most backs and can catch the ball out the backfield just as good as run the ball. I’m a natural leader that goes hard in everything I do, from running the ball to blocking. My size at the running back position and strength helps me extend plays that normally would end in the backfield.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve been in the weight room as well as on the field making sure I build strength and speed. My dad coaches track and field and I attend the practices to stay in shape just in case I get a call from a league. I don’t like to take too long of a break I’ve always ran track during my off seasons.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m a student of the game I’m kind of like a sponge I like to learn as well as teach those around me no matter the experience. I always put in extra work and willing to help others. I’m a big people person and I’m an extrovert that loves bonding with teammates and those around me. You spend so much time with your teammates going through hard workouts and battles on the field they become your brothers and I go to war for my brothers.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m a work horse that’s been through plenty adversity on and off the field and maintained focus on the task at hand. I’ve made large changes each year and it shows in my stats and gameplay. An opportunity is all I need I’m ready to showcase my abilities.
