What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My top 3 goals this past season was to have a winning season, lead the team in tackles and become the first player in my school history to become a 3x 1st team all Conference player.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took advantage of just getting overall better as a player with my speed, strength & technique. I also felt like it was only right to go back and put up good numbers and film which can help me once I pursued my professional career.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think they view me as a passionate leader who leads by example both on the field and in the classroom.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I like to focus on formations and the most popular plays that offenses like to go to out of those formations. Another key for me is knowing the down and distance and knowing what plays the offense like to run depending on the down and distance.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The main thing that separates me is my competitive edge and physicality for my size. I’m only 5’10 190 lbs but I play like I’m 205. I’m not afraid of contact or to be in the box. I also feel like I’m super smart and have a high IQ.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plans are to add a few more pounds to my body weight while also working on getting faster. I know a good guy who trains for speed and agility and he’s going to work with me this off-season. I will of course still work on my feet, hips, etc.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A few strengths that I can bring to any team is a guy who will compete no matter, a physical safety/nickel who isn’t afraid to get physical with receivers, Tight Ends or Backs. I see myself as a Swiss Army knife being able to play multiple positions as well.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

By giving me an opportunity for your team. You will get a guy who’s passionate about football, I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make a roster/win. I can play SS, FS, NI and some corner. I’m smart and love to watch film and break it down. I’m physical so tackling is not a problem for me. You will get a guy who will show up each and ever day ready to get better, ready to learn and ready to compete. I am a team person and will do whatever is needed for the betterment of the team and not myself.
