Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The main goal that I had for this season was to make it to postseason play. With my team being 8-3 we were able to make it to a bowl game which is still postseason play. Another goal was to make the all conference team. With my performance on the field I was able to be voted Defensive Player of the Year for the MIAA and make first team all conference.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I am a good locker room guy. A guy that gets along with everyone and uplifts the team. They would say that I am a playmaker. If there is a play to be made, my team knows that I will make the play within the scheme of the defense.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Some things that I focus on to improve my game while studying film are different formations and the tendencies from those formations. Focusing on down and distance and the different type of plays that they can run at different down and distances.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from the others at my position is my ability to read and react. I trust my training and my film study to know that what I’m doing is correct and I just have to go out and make the play. Also my ability to pass rush separates me from the competition. I love to get after the quarterback and make plays for my team.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan on finishing out the season with my team then I plan on training for a pro day back at home after the semester is over.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, I like to think of myself as a coach on the field with my knowledge of the playbook. I make sure to know what I am doing but also knowing what my teammates are supposed to be doing. Off the field, I like the talk to new people and get along with everyone as I feel that is a way to make team chemistry better.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You should take a chance on me because I have been doubted my whole life and I just put my head down and kept working til I got to the position I’m in now. I’m a hard worker, passionate, and willing to whatever to help the team get better. I’m a fast learner and I can take criticism and use that to get better. I strive to learn more about the game of football and get better at my craft for the betterment of the team.
