Height: 6-3

Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal for the season was to build off of my junior year! I had a pretty good junior year but one thing that I knew I needed to get better at was rushing the passer. So I spent the whole off season working on my bend, get off and balance and that led to me having an all American season.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my coaches would say I’m a selfless person. I put other needs before mine. I also think that would say that I am a leader. I took on the leadership role during my sophomore year and I think that has helped me as a person and a player.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch film on myself, I like to look at the small details like my first step, my hand placement and my eyes. Focusing on those small details has helped me become successful on the field.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

One thing that separates me from other pro prospects is the effort I give every play and my physicality. Going into Gv, it was instilled into the defense to have relentless pursuit and to dominate the line of scrimmage. I bought into those rules early and it shaped me into the player I am today.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan on training with a guy named Jim Kielbaso, who is based in Novi, Michigan. He focuses on speed development and I think that with his training I will become successful.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I think that my ability to pass rush, stop the run and over overall athleticism on the field will stand out to coaches . Off the field, my leadership, discipline, and strong work ethic will contribute to my impact. My ability to analyze opponents and adapt to different strategies will add value to teams.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I think that over the years I have elevated my game to another level. My ability to read plays, matched with a disciplined work ethic, makes me a promising asset. I am a proven leader both on and off the field, I bring grit, determination, and untapped potential to elevate any teams defense.
